There is a disabled toilet within the reception area and ample up to date magazines and news papers for people who are waiting for patients or who have arrived early.

Acute or Chronic Pain

Whether you suffer from chronic or acute pain physiotherapy can often make a difference. If you wish to contact us or book an assessment we will endeavour to reduce your symptoms using the skills and knowledge of the experienced Physiotherapists here at Lakeside.

Our Physiotherapists have a wealth of knowledge, over 80 years experience between them! As well as musculo skeletal specialist Physiotherapists we have a specialist neuro Physiotherapist. They each work autonomously but when required work together as a team to bring about the best possible outcome for our patients. We offer a wide range of physiotherapy treatments and each individual will have their own bespoke treatment protocol tailor made for them.

On site large fully equipped rehabilitation gymnasium for exercise therapy catering for patients requiring early through to late rehabilitation. Equipment includes: treadmill, static bikes, Arc trainer, rower, Cybex isodynamometer, Compex, Reebok steps, wall bars, Swiss balls.

The gymnasium is both large and modern and enables the physiotherapists to rehabilitate/treat both neurologically impaired individuals and people with musculo skeletal problems such as post operative joint replacements, sports injuries, back pain.

There are changing rooms and showers available for client use, including facilities for the disabled.

Hourly Appointments

Whether in the gym for rehabilitation/personal fitness training or in an individual treatment room all physiotherapy sessions are for one hour.

We offer a “hands on” approach to physiotherapy and feel an hour allows time for a thorough effective assessment and treatment to a high standard providing maximum benefit to the individual.

Alongside the treatment our aim is to educate the client allowing them to understand their diagnosis and hopefully prevent further problems by enabling the individual to self manage themselves as far as possible.
